Your mission

We are seeking a structured, proactive, and detail-oriented Junior Controller (f/m/d) to join our Finance team in Frankfurt. In this position, you will work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to analyze financial performance, manage budgeting and forecasting, and drive efficiency across our local and international operations.

If you bring strong analytical capabilities, advanced Excel skills, and a service-oriented yet assertive mindset, we invite you to help build and maintain our modern financial controlling structure.

Your Tasks
  • Budget & Performance Monitoring: Compare monthly financial results against the budget and highlight key differences.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Help prepare monthly financial reports, forecasts, and management updates.
  • Department Support: Work closely with international teams across the company to provide helpful reports and data analysis.
  • Process Improvement: Look at operations in Germany and internationally to suggest practical ways to improve efficiency.
  • Controlling & Cost Oversight: Assist in keeping our controlling systems up to date and monitor project costs.
  • Month-End Closing: Support the accounting team with accruals and checks during month-end closes.

Your profile

  • Education & Basics: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, alongside a solid understanding of basic accounting principles. 
  • Analytical Skills: Comfortable analyzing data, working with numbers, and creating clear financial summaries.
  • Software Skills: Advanced MS Excel skills (PowerQuery, basic formulas/macros) and solid knowledge of MS Office. Experience with Navision (Microsoft Dynamics) is a plus.
  • Languages: Business fluent in English. Knowledge of German or Spanish is a plus.
  • Work Style: Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently when given clear guidelines.
  • Personal Traits: A team player mindset, and the ability to stay focused under tight deadlines (such as year-end audits).
